Two new tracks!
Diode is a tough little number. I wanted to play around with building a really heavy Bass Drum using reverb and distortion and this track came from that. The lead is the Vocal's FM with a distorted bell sound and a lot of automation. I decided to let the BD take up the whole of the bass range, so no real baseline to speak of.
Shift is a lot lighter, more house-y and chill. The lead was generated using my Turing machine device, which was really fun. When computers and randomness create something beautiful I'm always happy. Elsewhere there's a lot of Volca FM in the more ambient sounds. Finally the baseline is a mix of Audiokit Bass 808 and the Volca FM (using a modified Brass 1 patch from the original DX7 Cart!)
